CHILDREN
More than 2 million children in the U.S. do not have the glasses they need to see the board, read a book, or participate in class.

Vision screenings are offered to Los Angeles community members at no cost. Participants must be 3 years or older. You are not required to have insurance. Our partners, Vision To Learn and the Jules Stein Eye Institute, will provide free vision screenings to children between the ages of 3 and 17 years old.

Vision Screenings are quick and non-invasive. The screener stands roughly 3-feet away from the patient and holds a device that can check for common vision issues. Typically it takes 5-minutes per family member or less. HOWEVER, children 17 years and younger are screened by a different team, therefore you must make a reservation for each INDIVIDUAL. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-Registration is strongly encouraged. Spots are available from 9am to 4:00pm.
